Port Shepstone Country Club is one of the country's toprated golf courses. The fairways, which are mainly covered with Buffalo grass, are fairly wide and are generally in an excellent condition. The putting surfaces are country club grass and the rough is kept short on a flat but picturesque layout, with three holes (7, 9 and 10) right next to the river.

Driving range and a practice tee. There is a clubhouse which offers light snacks and has a dining room, tennis, squash and bowls facilities.
