Tech Article: What to do when your PC hangs
Its happened to us all, you're working quite merrily along on your PC when all of a sudden everything on the entire system hangs on you! Nothing responds to your frantic clicking, frustration levels start to soar, and you just wanna throw the thing out the window! What do you do?
Firstly, understand why this happens: It could be many things that cause your PC to hang, by far the most common reason is out of memory problems. This does happen from time to time, and unfortunately there isn't much you can proactively do to prevent it completely.
Rescue mission:
First try to "revive" the PC by pressing [ctrl] + [alt] + [del], which will bring up a task manager. This will show you which program is causing your PC to hang. You can then try to "kill" that task / program by selecting it, and pressing the "end task" button. A smaller window should popup to verify, click on "end now" button. If all goes well, you should be able to go back to work. :)
When that doesn't work:
If the above doesn't want to work (happens in some cases), then you need to force a system shutdown. This is done by holding the power button down for 10 seconds (or less on some PCs). Simply hold it down until the PC turns off. Leave the PC off for 30 seconds before turning it back on! (it is also recommended to turn off the power at the wall for the 30 second break. On laptops, remove the battery for 30 seconds.) This clears system memory completely, ready for a fresh restart.
Have I lost my file I was working on?
Well, did you save it? Unfortunately you HAVE TO keep saving your files as you are working on them, incase something like this happens. If you have not saved, you have lost your unsaved work, yes. Sorry...
Hot Tip: It can be painful to have to click File -> Save all the time, so use the shortcut instead: [ctrl] + [s]

Movie Review: Next
What if you knew exactly what was going to happen in the NEXT 2 minutes? You could change the course of events, save lives, prevent accidents, and more. Perhaps you could play some poker, and use your 2 minute prediction talent to place the right bets and make money! That's exactly what Nicholas Cage is able to do in this new release.
Cage plays the part of Cris Johnson, who can see just 2 minutes into the future, and he uses this power to help people. "If you can see the future, you can save it". FBI agents want Cris to help them to save the world, but Cris has other plans. A very intriguing tale.
Jessica Biel lends herself well to her part, but Cage's talent as an actor is what keeps it all together. Look out for the big twist at the end!
