Movie Review: Knocked Up Knocked UpThis one has a twist! Be warned! Not for the squeamish! Those of you who have seen it know what I'm talking about. :-| The story is of a bunch of looser guy, with no jobs, who all share a house. One day, at a club, one of the guys gets extremely lucky with a very good looking, defiantly out of his league girl. A few weeks later, you guessed she, she finds out she's knocked up, and this looser must be the father! The two get together in an effort to try an make it work, and that's where the real comedy begins.

Rating: 4/10
Very funny in parts, but way over the top.

Final Say: Kevin Keenan WhaleTelkom fixed the line that was zapped by lightning Monday and kept me incommunicado for a couple of days. A very polite gentleman called to say that it was an exchange problem and that it was repaired. And all this on Wednesday – the same week! Thanks Telkom! Things are looking up!

More good news. The whales are still here, well at least one this week. I saw him jumping yesterday, off Southport beach. Around July and August is the best time for them and most have passed by already, so it’s wonderful to keep seeing them and to be enthralled by their massive grace and stunning displays. I’ve only been back at the coast for two years and it’s still a thrill to see whales.

Thought of the week: A candle loses none of its brightness in lighting another, but together they are brighter than if kept apart. Even a single candle pierces the darkest dark.
