Aries Transport operates as a heavy transport contractor from its premises in Marburg, Port Shepstone. Aries Transport (Pty) Ltd was registered on 5th August 1971 and commenced trading in August 1978. In January 1986 the Company was converted to a Close Corporation and currently trades under the name of Aries Transport cc. The Corporation has been a "nominated transport contractor" for NPC (Natal Portland Cement) for the past 15 years and we continue to transport pocketed cement from Durban to the South Coast for resale through a separate division of the Corporation:- Aries Building Supplies.

Aries Building Supplies commenced operations over 10 years ago, the main activity being the sales of NPC Cement and clay face, semi face bricks. We currently supply over 10 000 tons of cement annually to the local construction industry which has for the past four years ranked us as a "Top 50" customer of Natal Portland Cement. The demand for cement and cement bricks and blocks continues to escalate in line with the general upswing in the building industry. Aries Building Supplies are positioned to meet this demand with some exciting new developments planned during 2005.

The clay face brick industry has also shown tremendous growth over the last five years as the general public realizes the long term benefits of building with these products. We carry an extensive range of clay face and semi face bricks, pavers and stock bricks with over 60 different samples on display at our premises in Marburg.

Our stockholding of approximately 250 000 bricks at any time caters for most needs, however we have access to more within a few days subject to supplier availability. Should we not stock the brick product you require, every endeavour will be made to locate it or match it. All our prices include delivery (subject to quantities) within the boundaries of the Hibiscus Coast municipality. We have two dedicated delivery vehicles delivering Monday to Saturday, both days inclusive.
